Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera L.) is widely cultivated fruit tree having thousands of years usage as food and medicinal plant. Its fruits, trunk leaves contain a diverse array phytochemicals with potential pharmacological activities. In recent years, the application biological active compounds, present in date palm, getting attention scientist to explore their role betterment humans under malnutrition circumstances. The review summarizes current state information on activities tree. Phytochemicals found include polyphenols, flavonoids, carotenoids, tocopherols triterpenoids. These compounds have been revealed wide range anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, including anti-tumor Additionally, has antidiabetic, hypolipidemic, neuroprotective effects. chemicals are also affective against various diseases cancer, cardiovascular issues diabetes. exposed cholesterol lowering effect anti-inflammatory. addition, tannins, which antimicrobial antioxidant palm’s contains bioactive dietary fiber, vitamins, phenolic minerals compounds. shown health benefits, improving gut health, reducing stress oxidative, disease risk. prebiotic effects, promoting growth beneficial bacteria.
